The Cambridge Supermarket is aware that not every family has the opportunity to provide balanced meals to their families. If you know of a family in need or if you or your family needs assistance please contact one of the resources listed below.

Food vouchers from the Cambridge Ministerial Association are honored at the Cambridge Supermarket. These vouchers are available for milk, cheese and fresh fruits from the Friendship Food Pantry. Vouchers may be obtained from any one of the ministers in Cambridge. (certain qualifications may apply)

  • St. Paul's Lutheran Church
  • St. John's Catholic Church
  • Baptist Church
  • United Methodist Church
  • Congregational Church

WIC (Women's, Infants and Children) can also be redeemed at the Cambridge Supermarket. WIC provides Federal grants to States for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) also known as the federal Food Stamp Program is available for low-income individuals and families. It helps them buy the food they need for good health. Benefits are provided on an electronic card that is used like an ATM card and accepted at most grocery stores.
